From Portland, Oregon, USA, Catherine Schook (31) has lived in the Netherlands for ten years. She has a master’s in gender-based medicine and a bachelor’s in community health education. She has worked as a counselor with sexual assault survivors, sex workers, and HIV clients and is currently finishing her master’s in Counseling Psychology. She adds to her expertise as a sex positive therapist-in-training by presenting research and workshops at sexology conferences, supporting gender and sexuality students as a counselor-in-training, and writing articles about non-sexual intimacy and sex positivity.
