To change sexual attitudes to a positive leaning, compassion for others and their rights to pleasure can be an entry point to foster sex positivity. By definition, a sex positive person respects the many diverse ways people can express and experience sexuality and sexual pleasure. How does a person become sex positive? By accepting all others’ sexual fulfilment (such as disabled populations, non-monogamous, etc.), it is suggested that when sexual attitudes can shift away from the self, compassion for others and their rights to pleasure can shine more brightly and positively. The lecture offers suggestions into how to do just that: become more sex positive through compassion.
